CMA CGM to launch MOROCCO SHUTTLE, a new Butterfly service linking Morocco, France & Spain

CMA CGM – Short Sea Lines Division announced their new butterfly MOROCCO SHUTTLE service launching as from WEEK 45 between MOROCCO | FRANCE | SPAIN.

This new weekly service (starting ex Agadir on November 10th, 2022)-on top of addressing Moroccan cabotage- will enable to implement a sustainable maritime bridge between Agadir & Port Vendres for upcoming Fruit & Vegetables campaign. This will allow a -75% CO2 emissions savings compared to traditional truck modal on this corridor.

Main features:

• Fleet : 2 vessels x 1,100 TEU - Moroccan flag - 220 reefer plugs with 45'RFH intake
• Rotation : AGADIR / PORT VENDRES / BARCELONA / ALGECIRAS / TANGER MED / CASABLANCA / AGADIR
• Frequency : WEEKLY
• 1st call ETD Agadir: Thu. 10/11/2022 pm | 1st call ETA PORT VENDRES Mon. 14/11/2022 am
• Ocean TRANSIT TIME: Agadir to Port Vendres in 3.5 days
