CMA CGM suspension of bookings to Tunis/Rades, Tunisia

Jul 16, 2021

CMA CGM has been experiencing severe operation delays in TUNIS / RADES for weeks, cumulating an average port stay of 25 days (between congestion/waiting time & very low operational productivity at berth).

As a result, Tunis/Rades cargo evacuation processing from our hub is being obviously seriously affected.

In this respect, please be informed that CMA CGM will be implementing STOP BOOKING for TUNIS/RADES with immediate effect and until further notice:

*Not applicable to cargoes loaded on RORO service between MARSEILLE and TUNIS/RADES

  • For all cargoes Worldwide* bound for TUNIS/RADES
  • Effective as from now and until further notice
  • Cargo : Dry / IMO / Reefer

In the meantime, as an alternative, bookings can still be accepted / diverted to other Tunisian ports as: SOUSSE / SFAX / BIZERTE.
