CMA CGM Suez Canal backlog update

The CMA CGM Group continues to monitor and inform its customers on the actions implemented to allow for a fast resumption of traffic in the Suez Canal and a complete return to normal operational conditions, and to relay its recovery action plan.

The capacity of a daily convoy remains estimated at 80 transit per day (in and out) and the situation may change depending on further development.

Operational outlook for CMA CGM Group vessels:

Southbound backlog will be cleared by tomorrow, April 1st, and Northbound backlog by Friday, April 2nd.

For vessels arrivals between today until the weekend, delays of 1-2 days may be expected ; CMA CGM expects a more normalized situation by next week.
