CMA CGM PCS in Iskenderun and Mersin, Turkey to West Africa

CMA CGM is experiencing important delays in Iskenderun and Mersin, Turkey between congestion/waiting time plus berth time on the current vessels berthing sequences with following impacts:

  • laden cargo lead-time is being increased
  • empty equipment re-loading / repositioning frequency is affected
  • operating costs are increased

In this respect, please be informed that CMA CGM will be implementing a Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS) in Iskenderun as follows:

  • From: Iskenderun and Mersin, Turkey
  • To: West Africa
  • Cargo: Dry & Reefer
  • Applicable from April 13th, 2023, loading date
  • Amount: USD 200 per Unit
