Apr 03, 2024

CMA CGM Group has the regret to inform you that the political labour actions in all Finnish ports are impacting our services.

Regrettably, the strike started march 11th is extended further to April 7th midnight.

In this ligth, we have to adjust our rotations and our vessels have to omit Finland ports. As a result, import cargo to Finland onboard have been or will be discharged in Tallinn, Estonia.

Due to this case of force majeure situation, you can either choose:

  • To accomplish their shipment in Tallinn, Estonia, pursuant to clause 10 of our Terms & Conditions
  • Or to have cargo delivered to its final destination in Finland once the strike is over. Cargo destined for Finland will be loaded as planned with transshipment in Tallinn. Such cargo will be subject to a freight adjustment of EUR 350 per container to cover additional costs incurred by the line under this force majeure situation.

Standard storage and Demurrage & Detention conditions will apply for all cargo awaiting shipments.

Some limited opportunities exist to deliver cargo by ferry to Finland, on a case-by-case basis. For further information, please reach out to your local representative. Pricing details are available upon request.
