CMA CGM has announced the launch of its new service, SEAS 3 (Asia to South America East Coast 3), specifically designed to streamline shipments from the Far East to ECSA. This initiative aligns with market dynamics in the region and reaffirms CMA CGM’s commitment to delivering high-quality service.
SEAS 3 service highlights are the following:
- Rotation: Shanghai - Shekou - Vung Tau - Singapore - Santos - Singapore - Shanghai
- Express Direct Service to Santos: Service direct to Santos Brasil Tecon Terminal covered by calls from Central and South China
- Unique Service from Vietnam: Vung Tau direct call, allowing direct connections via Singapore for South East Asia origins
- Enhanced Santos Hub: Utilizing a reliable feedering network to connect Mercosul services, including Braco for North East destinations and Plata for the Argentina and Uruguay markets. Caribbean destinations can also be served via Brazex Northbound CMA CGM service.
- Strong Reliability: Direct, fixed-day weekly service integrating more than 20% buffer with a fleet of 7 ships operated by CMA CGM and 4 for Maersk.
- Inaugural Departure: The first departure of the m/v "CMA CGM NANSHA" is scheduled on April 8th, 2025 from Shanghai.
