Hackers are usurping CMA CGM identity in their conversation with CMA CGM customers by email asking them to pay CMA CGM invoices on their own accounts, pretexting a change of bank account details.
Operating process of hackers may be the following:
They recommend the highest level of vigilance in this context and confirm that this is not a Group practice to communicate bank details at customer care level nor at any other channels: CMA CGM bank account details are only indicated on our invoices.
Should you receive this type of request, please do not reply or forward as it may be a fraudulent email and phishing attempt. Report this suspicious activity to your usual CMA CGM local contact.
