Circle S.p.A., (“Circle” or the “Company”), company heading the homonymous Group specialized in the strategic consultancy and advocacy within the transport sectors, listed on Euronext Growth Milan market, announces the participation with subsidiary Magellan Circle to the international Consortium ReNEW supporting the transition of Inland Waterway Transport (“IWT”) towards being a smart, green, sustainable, and climateresilient sector.

With a total budget of almost Euro 9 million, this project represents for Magellan Circle a 175,000 Euro contract and the inclusion in a multidisciplinary group of 24 high level partners from 11 different Countries in the European Union in the fields of IWT and Intelligent transport systems.

Ana Paula Mesquita, Managing Director at Magellan Circle stated, “This is a big success of the team that will bring innovation and new solutions along the River Douro that could be then exploited in other contexts in Europe”.

Alexio Picco, Managing Director at CIRCLE Group and President at Magellan Circle added: “This result underlines once more the value of the strategy of the Magellan Circle business plan, supporting customers and partners through the main changes currently on going such and energy transition and digitalisation”.

For CIRCLE, this important assignment is relevant in the strategic perspective of 2024 roadmap “Connect 4 Agile Growth” because it allows to strengthen the presence of the Group within the decision-making contexts at international level, playing a key role in supporting digitalisation of the transport sector.
