
Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) and Grupo Imetame - joint venture partners in HGT Aracruz - signed an agreement with Sany for the supply of key container-handling equipment, including Ship- to-Shore (STS) cranes and Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes for the new greenfield terminal in Aracruz, Espírito Santo, Brazil. This agreement marks a key milestone in the development of the project and reflects the joint venture partners’ commitment to building a world-class terminal. By combining operational efficiency, sustainability, and scalability, the terminal will be well-positioned to support future growth and address rising customer demand.

Officially established in June 2026, the new container terminal in Aracruz, Brazil, represents a significant investment in the country’s port infrastructure.
