Chennault Airport secures $20.9M FEMA Award to drive major job growth in Southwest Louisiana

Chennault International Airport has been awarded $20,894,692.02 by the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) to build a 37,449 square foot paint hangar that will support over 100 more jobs for the region and State of Louisiana. Louisiana Economic Development also supported this project with a $2M grant to further ensure completion.

This investment strengthens our economy, expands opportunity, and supports long-term job growth in Southwest Louisiana.
