Chapman Freeborn Airchartering, Inc. adds Cargo Director and a new Northeast office in USA

Jan 18, 2021

Expanding its international operations, Chapman Freeborn is growing to meet the increasing demands of the air charter sector and support existing customers in the US market.

Chapman Freeborn’s Chief Commercial Officer, Neil Dursley says, “I’m delighted to have
Ben Hampton join Chapman Freeborn and head up our Northeast office. It’s great news for us but also for customers with urgent needs like automotive and AOG shipments and for new customers nationwide who want to get their products into key markets around the world.”

With over 10 years in the aviation industry, Hampton joins Chapman Freeborn as the Cargo Director for the Northeastern USA.  Prior to joining, he was the Director of Sales for a part 135 operator, and prior to that was the Assistant Director of US Cargo for a global charter brokerage.

Hampton states, “Chapman Freeborn is considered the gold standard in global charters and I’m thrilled to be joining the team to build on that reputation here in the US.”

The new Chapman Freeborn office opens 18th January in Parsippany, New Jersey. “We’ll be neighbors with some of the largest freight forwarders in the world and we’ll be introducing ourselves to new customers nationwide,” said Hampton. This office will also support passenger charter sales and the long-term growth plans of Magma Aviation’s scheduled service operations and their fleet of B747 freighters. Chapman Freeborn is the majority stakeholder.
