CEVA Logistics and Miele renew long-term logistics partnership for a further two years

Jun 10, 2020

CEVA Logistics has been awarded a new two-year extension to its Italian contract with high-end domestic appliance manufacturer, Miele. The new contract extends a partnership between the two companies which commenced in 1989 and covers a wide spectrum of activities including warehousing transport, order picking for eCommerce and returns.

CEVA will continue providing Miele with a full suite of back-office services to support eCommerce orders alongside the other functions. It will process the orders from a 6,000 square meter facility at Martinengo in the northern Italian province of Bergamo, Lombardy.
Extension of long-standing contract
Among the goods CEVA will be responsible for are large household appliances, small appliances, recessed ovens and hobs, accessories, cleaning products and professional machines for laundries and hotels. The CEVA Italy team will also be responsible for handling all of Miele’s returns within Italy.
Says Christophe Boustouller, CEVA Italy’s Managing Director: “The new contract extension from Miele is a tremendous sign of support for this long-term working relationship which stretches back more than three decades. It is proof that CEVA Logistics’ constant attention to detail, our offer of high value-added services and our cutting-edge solutions are exactly what our customers need.”
Adds Alessandro Covi, Managing Director of Miele: “Miele appliances have always stood out for their maximum attention to quality, performance and details that make everyday life more practical and simple. We expect from our partners the same care and attention to the consumer. CEVA has confirmed itself over the years as a reliable partner, with whom we are pleased to continue to collaborate.”
