Carrier Transicold delivers smart and efficient solutions at India’s Cold Chain Exhibition

Oct 16, 2024

Carrier Transicold unveiled its next-generation intelligent refrigeration units at REFCOLD 2024 in Kolkata, India. The innovative Supra A and Citimax D series aim to transform the cold chain industry through advanced technology and exceptional efficiency. Carrier Transicold is part of Carrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

Carrier Transicold introduced the Supra A series, a solution that enhances both efficiency and compactness, compared to previous Supra truck refrigeration units. The Supra A series is designed to perform in high ambient temperatures up to 55 degrees C, ensuring reliability even in the most challenging conditions. It offers precise temperature control, making it ideal for temperature-sensitive perishables. Additionally, the Supra series offers better uptime and reliability with less maintenance, providing a quick return on investment.

In addition to the Supra A series, Carrier Transicold also introduced the new generation Citimax D series, a result of decades of dedicated research and development. These units have been thoughtfully upgraded to enhance performance and offers up to 22% faster pull-down speed, compared to previous Citimax units, with increased cooling and heating capacity. The design is up to 26% lighter, making installation easier and increasing loading capability. The Citimax D series also features a new intelligent controller with a 3.2" screen, supporting data recording, querying and remote transmission.

Both series are designed to meet the evolving needs of the cold chain industry, providing customers with the tools to enhance their operations and support intelligent development.

“The introduction of the Supra A and Citimax D series marks a significant leap toward efficiency and intelligence in refrigeration technology, tailored to meet the unique needs of the Indian market," Pankaj Mehta, Managing Director of Truck Trailer India, Carrier Transicold, said. “These new series represent the future of versatile refrigeration solutions.”

“We are thrilled to introduce the Citimax D and Supra A series in India,” said Cynthia Lu, Managing Director, Truck Trailer Asia, Carrier Transicold. “This new generation of intelligent refrigeration units represents our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions. The Citimax D series combines advanced technology with exceptional efficiency, ensuring reliable performance even in the most challenging conditions. We believe this launch along with the Supra A series will greatly enhance our ability to meet the unique needs of our customers in India.”
