cargo-partner in Slovakia continues to strengthen its position a as a key logistics hub in Central and Eastern Europe. The iLogistics Center in Dunajská Streda, not far from the Slovakian capital and operational since 2012, benefits from a strategic location, direct intermodal integration, and specialized industry expertise for the automotive and high-tech sectors.

Direct Rail Connection and Iron Silk Road Gateway
One of the most significant advantages of the cargo-partner iLogistics Center Dunajská Streda is its direct connection to the METRANS intermodal terminal. This allows containers arriving by train from European ports such as Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Koper, Rotterdam, Trieste, and Istanbul to be transferred directly from the rail tracks to the warehouse. By eliminating last-mile trucking, cargo-partner saves customers up to two days of transit time while significantly reducing CO₂ emissions as well as costs for trucking and container storage at the terminal.
The facility also serves as a strategic deconsolidation hub for LCL rail shipments via the Iron Silk Road, complementing cargo-partner’s hub in Brwinów, Poland. Supported by METRANS’ strong railway network, the terminal offers high-frequency connections to major economic gateways, including up to 21 weekly runs to/from Koper and regular weekly services to/from Česká Třebová, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, and Košice.
Automotive Competence Center
The facility has become a cornerstone for the automotive industry. In 2025, the Dunajská Streda team managed over 203,000 pallet operations and processed nearly 3,000 containers (2,934 TEU) for four key automotive clients.
In addition to standard warehousing, the center provides value added services (VAS) designed to meet the rigorous standards of the automotive supply chain. Recent performance highlights include:
Comprehensive Solutions for Diverse Industries
While the Automotive Competence Center is a primary focus, cargo-partner also provides specialized logistics for the High Tech sector and handles heavy and oversized cargo.
The 18,200 m² facility is equipped to handle complex logistics requirements, with:
