Bolloré Logistics appoints new head of luxury vertical for the Americas

Bolloré Logistics announces today the appointment of Jean-Baptiste Buée to the position of Head of Luxury for the Americas. Based in New Jersey, USA, Jean-Baptiste will report to Marc Sawaya, VP Sales North America. This new recruitment comes after the recent appointment of Nathalie Leger as Global VP of the Luxury, Perfumes and Cosmetics vertical and will support the company’s strategy to expand its activities in the luxury sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Marc said: “This position falls in a very strategic and growing industry for the company, and we are delighted to have Jean-Baptiste leading this vertical in the Americas region. He brings the knowledge and experience of working with the world’s leading luxury fashion brands and with him, we have been able to gain another very experienced industry expert to join our vertical team.” 

Jean-Baptiste has a Master’s degree from EDHEC Business School. He comes from Bolloré Logistics France where he most recently held the role of Global Key Account Manager for leading luxury groups. His responsibilities included client relationships, improving and growing the client’s business by identifying and implementing new and sustainable global trade. Prior to joining Bolloré Logistics, Jean-Baptiste held various positions in particular Trade Lane Manager North America with DHL Global Forwarding and Sales Development positions with K&N and UPS SCS as well as Air France/KLM Cargo. 

Jean-Baptiste will work with the entire Americas region in collaboration with the local sales team in USA, Canada and Latin America to gain new accounts. He will also be responsible to coordinate activities with the global vertical team to support the company’s strategy for growth in this key vertical.
