Bob’s Discount Furniture’s Kennie recognized as a 2023 “Top Women to Watch in Transportation” by the Women in Trucking Association

Bob’s Discount Furniture, one of the fastest growing omni-channel furniture retailers in the country, is proud to announce that Redefining the Road, the official magazine of the Women In Trucking Association (WIT) has honored Margaret “Maggie” Kennie, Lead Driver, as a 2023 “Top Women to Watch in Transportation”.

Every year, Redefining the Road recognizes female leaders in the industry who not only have had significant career accomplishments in the last year, but go the extra mile to support other women and help to improve gender diversity at their own companies and/or industry-wide.

Kennie joined the primarily male dominated trucking industry twenty-five years ago and has driven through 48 states and Canada. After joining Bob’s Discount Furniture, she was appointed new hire trainer and has served as Lead Driver for the past three and a half years. In the past year, Ms. Kennie has led a team of forty-three drivers through some of the busiest times the company has ever seen.
