B&H Worldwide further boosts business development team in Asia

B&H Worldwide, the award-winning aerospace logistics provider, has further expanded its business development expertise in Asia with the appointment of Joel Eley. 

Eley, a long-term specialist in supply chain logistics for the aviation industry, will support the company’s growth plans for the region and joins a growing team of B&H experts based in the region.  His most recent role was Head of Supply Chain at the AIRBUS MRO subsidiary SAE (Sepang Aircraft Engineering) and SR Technics in Malaysia. He has extensive experience in all areas of the business including roles as Procurement & Planning Manager at Virgin Atlantic in the UK and with materials and logistics providers in Malaysia, Indonesia, Bahrain and Greece. 

Asia is now the fastest growing region in the world for the aviation industry thanks in large part to the expansion of low-cost carriers across the continent. With MRO (maintenance repair and overhaul) business there forecast to grow by 5% per annum between 2021 and 2027 expertise in the field is vital to deliver the specialist services being demanded by customers.

Eley, who will report to B&H Worldwide’s Group head of sales, Michael Haskins, who is delighted to welcome an individual with his unique experience to the team: “Joel is a results-driven individual with the kind of skills and commitment to continuous improvement which are demanded in our fast-paced industry.  His knowledge and ability to drive both new solutions and efficiencies for our customers will be crucial as we target building new customer relationships in south east Asia,” says Haskins.
