BGE, Inc. announced the appointment of Rodney R. Heisch, PE, as Chief Corporate Officer (CCO) and Michael H. Garrison, PE, as Chief Operating Officer (COO). These appointments, effective June 1, 2026, reflect a deliberate evolution in BGE's leadership structure; one designed to sharpen the firm's focus and strengthen its operations and ongoing expansion.

Rodney R. Heisch, PE — Chief Corporate Officer

Rodney R. Heisch brings more than 38 years of civil engineering experience to his new role as Chief Corporate Officer. Most recently serving as BGE's Houston Region Operations Leader, overseeing offices in Houston, Katy, and The Woodlands, Heisch has been a trusted leader across both operational and client-facing disciplines throughout his career at BGE. As the former Director of BGE's Land Development department, his team provided services to more than 110 municipal utility districts and numerous Houston-area master-planned communities. Heisch also currently serves on the City of Houston Planning Commission and the ACEC Houston Board of Directors.

As BGE's inaugural CCO, Heisch is uniquely positioned to shape the role from the ground up. Having spent his career in BGE's operational space, he brings firsthand insight into the needs of the Practice groups, making him a natural connector between the firm’s corporate functions and the teams delivering work in the field. In this role, he will oversee BGE's human resources, enterprise technology, and marketing and communications disciplines, and will serve as a key strategic advisor to President & CEO Randy Randermann, PE, and to BGE's Board of Directors.

"I've had the privilege of spending most of my career at this firm, and in that time, I've watched BGE grow from the inside out — built on relationships, driven by people who genuinely care about each other and our clients," said Rodney Heisch, PE, Chief Corporate Officer, BGE. "Stepping into this role is an opportunity to protect and strengthen the culture that makes BGE what it is, and to make sure the systems behind the scenes are as strong as the people they support."

Michael H. Garrison, PE — Chief Operating Officer

Mike Garrison brings a proven record of operational leadership to his new role as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently serving as BGE's North Texas Region Operations Leader and overseeing offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Waco, and Arkansas, Garrison has been instrumental in guiding project delivery, building client relationships, and developing the next generation of technical leaders. With over 37 years of industry experience and known for his operational expertise and deep industry knowledge, his commitment to BGE's culture makes him uniquely suited to implement the firm's strategy and vision.

As COO, Garrison will strengthen BGE's financial resilience and competitive position, driving operational excellence and seamless client delivery firm-wide. He will drive consistency in processes, champion technology adoption, and mentor senior and regional leaders to ensure scalable growth and strategic alignment.

"BGE leadership has always believed that the best way to serve our clients is to invest deeply in the people doing the work," said Mike Garrison, PE, Chief Operating Officer, BGE. "In this new role, I'm excited to help build the systems and structures that allow our teams to do what they do best: solve problems for our clients and grow as professionals."

A message from Randy N. Randermann, PE — President & CEO

"Strong, forward-looking leadership is essential as we continue to grow and support increasingly complex client needs. Rodney and Mike bring exactly what this moment calls for — deep experience, cultural alignment, and a genuine commitment to our people. The best investment BGE can make is in strengthening our leadership pipeline so we can continue to serve our communities for generations to come." — Randy Randermann, President & CEO, BGE
