As cargo theft spikes, J. J. Keller offers free security seal resource

Cargo theft rose 57% from 2022 to 2023, representing nearly $130 million in stolen goods (per CargoNet). One common way transporters deter theft and tampering is by using security seals.

Security seals act as a deterrent to potential thieves by visibly indicating if a trailer or container has been tampered with. The seals are available in a variety of strengths and with different tamper-evident features.
