APL Logistics announces 63,000 MTCO2e savings from OceanGuaranteed

APL Logistics’ customers saved 63,000 MTCO2e from switching from air freight to OceanGuaranteed so far in 2020.  This is the equivalent of driving 156 million fewer miles in a passenger vehicle.

To achieve the reduction, APL Logistics identifies customer shipments that can be sent using OceanGuaranteed rather than flying product to a destination.  This substitution of ocean for air freight saves on cost and carbon while expediting delivery with a guaranteed arrival date.
