Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) adds New VP and General Manager

Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) is pleased to announce that Troy Dessert has joined the company as the vice president and general manager of ATS, Inc. (the dry van division of Anderson Trucking Service Inc.). With more than 30 years’ experience in the transportation industry, Troy brings a wealth of expertise to ATS’ organization, garnered from his tenure at transportation corporations including C.R. England and Swift Transportation.

Troy's distinguished career has been marked by his comprehensive involvement in various aspects of the transportation business. His roles in account management, operations management, driver management and load planning during his years at C.R. England gave him a deep understanding of the trucking business. Later, he took on leadership roles on the operations and dedicated services teams at Swift Transportation (Central Refrigerated) and eventually served as the regional director of dedicated services and brokerage.

In his role as vice president and general manager, Troy will oversee all operational and sales aspects ATS’ dry van business, lean into his exceptional ability to build and cultivate robust networks, develop talent and solve complex problems. His alignment with ATS’ organizational culture and values, coupled with his demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development, makes Troy a valuable addition to the ATS team.
