ANA Group expands fleet with seven additional DHC-8-400 aircraft

ANA HOLDINGS INC. (hereinafter "ANA HD") today announced the expansion of its De Havilland fleet with seven additional DHC-8-400 aircraft.

The aircraft will be modified to match the specifications of ANA Group's existing DHC-8-400 fleet, ensuring they meet safety management standards and requirements with ANA's maintenance system. De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited will procure and re-condition the aircraft that will be certified according to original manufacturer specifications and delivered to ANA under warranty.

"Our decision to expand the DHC-8-400 fleet reflects our ongoing commitment of reliable and economical aircraft that will enhance our existing fleet," said Hidekazu Yoshida, executive vice president, procurement at ANA. "De Havilland Canada's comprehensive maintenance, repair and overhaul support will help us maintain our high standards of safety and service while supporting long-term reliability."

The fuel efficient DHC-8-400 aircraft, has been operating within the ANA Group since Nov. 1, 2003. To modernize its fleet and prioritize customer convenience, ANA Group will gradually introduce new aircraft starting in 2025 to ensure a sustainable operational structure.
