Ambercor Shipping moves heavy plant equipment from China to US

Jan 28, 2026

Ambercor Shipping USA, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium for the USA, successfully executed the transportation of a 140-metric-ton Mill Shell (17,45 × 5,21 × 5,21 m) from FOB Tianjin to the Port of Houston as part of a complex project cargo move.

The heavy-lift unit was safely discharged directly from the arriving ocean vessel on to specialized trailer, minimizing handling and ensuring operational efficiency. The cargo is now en route to a Fly Ash Processing Plant in North Dakota.

This project highlights Ambercor’s expertise in heavy-lift, oversized cargo, port coordination, and multimodal logistics, delivering safe and reliable solutions for industrial projects.
