Air Century implements CHAMP’s Traxon Global Security solution

Nov 30, 2021

Carrier will use solution for United States Air Cargo Advance Screening compliance (ACAS) for pre-load security filing program

Air Century implements CHAMP Cargosystems’ Traxon Global Security (TGS) solution to meet the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) ACAS security requirements.

TGS is a regulatory compliance service and platform that operates like its cousin Traxon Global Customs (TGC), which allows airlines, GHAs, and forwarders to access, use, and input all the necessary and relevant data required by the customs and security authorities. Users can track the progress and success of the shipments easily and efficiently with automated alerts triggered every step of the way. TGS is specifically designed to support multiple Pre-Loading Advance Cargo Information (PLACI) schemes from the same platform delivering a consistent and complete solution for security compliance.

“We are thrilled to use a tried and tested provider like CHAMP for a new frontier in regulatory compliance,” says Carlos Jiménez, Management Director at Air Century. “Being able to nimbly meet the US regulations has meant we can continue to expand our business throughout the region.”

“We are delighted to support Air Century with their data filing via ACAS to comply with the US legislation,” says Fred Werginz, Head of Commercial – North America at CHAMP Cargosystems. “Safety and security are the most important demands for traders in the air cargo supply chain. Our aim is to ensure that Air Century and its customers are satisfied with the service we can bring to support continually compliant operations into the US and beyond.”
