AeroNet secures three-year net repair contract with Qatar Airways Cargo

AeroNet has announced the signing of a landmark three-year contract with Qatar Airways Cargo for Net repair services valid until May 31, 2027, this agreement reflects the airline’s confidence in AeroNet’s expertise and commitment to efficient services.

AeroNet has been manufacturing Air Cargo Nets, Tie Down Straps and Cargo Equipments for Qatar Airways Cargo for the past 3 years, supporting the airline’s Air Cargo Operations. With this new contract, AeroNet will handle the repair of nets, ensuring their continued approach towards sustainability and longevity of their products and services. All repairs will take place at AeroNet’s EASA certified Part 145 repair stations.

Qatar Airways Cargo is the world’s leading air cargo carrier, renowned for operational and customer excellence. Qatar Airways Cargo operates a young and modern fleet of 28 Boeing 777 freighters and over 230 belly-hold passenger planes to an extensive network. The airline actively seeks to reduce its carbon footprint through various initiatives such as improvements in operational efficiencies, process enhancements, digitalization, fleet modernization, effective waste management and carbon offsetting. The cargo carrier has been recognised as the Cargo Airline of the Year 2024.
