AAR taps Hedrick as next Chief Financial Officer

The Association of American Railroads (AAR) announced today that Paul Hedrick will serve as the next Senior Vice President of AAR Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer. For the last 11 years, he has served as Chief Financial Officer at the Endocrine Society where he led the organization’s strategic, capital budget and information technology planning processes. Hedrick will replace Jeff Marsh who will remain at AAR to assist with the transition until his retirement on March 1, 2022. 

“Over the last 20 plus years, Paul Hedrick has honed a unique financial and information technologies skill set from his service to the Endocrine Society, SEIU and other important organizations,” said AAR President and CEO Ian Jefferies. “We are thrilled to welcome him aboard and confident his work will bring immense value to both AAR and the rail industry.”
Since 2010, Paul Hedrick has served as Chief Financial Officer for the Endocrine Society, guiding the strategic and financial policy for the $30 million organization. Most recently, Hedrick helped the organization navigate the coronavirus pandemic protecting them from financial loses associated with disruptions and pivoting to successfully produce the organizations first online annual meeting that garnered record attendance. He also oversaw the implementation of enterprise-wide association management system to enhance e-commerce experience across platforms and the website build of both the patient facing Hormore.org and member facing Endocrine.org
Prior to this, Hedrick served as Controller for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) where he was fully responsible for the internal financial and external financial reporting for the organization representing nearly 2 million organized workers in the healthcare, public services and property services sectors. Hedrick has also held financial management roles at the Corvis Corporation, Verizon Communications and the Seafarers Benefits Plan.
