A2B-online goes from strength-to-strength at London Thamesport

Dutch-based transport company A2B-online Container B.V. has added a fifth weekly sailing on its service between Hutchison Ports London Thamesport and Moerdijk in The Netherlands.

The innovative shortsea multimodal operator now offers a near-daily frequency with arrivals at the Kent port each week on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Commenting on the new sailing, Mark Taylor, Director, London Thamesport, said: “London Thamesport offers its customers a service tailored to their specific demands and we are delighted that A2B-online continues to go from strength-to-strength. Demand in the short-sea container market continues to grow as shippers look for a reliable and predictable service offering which is something we deliver by working closely with our customers and maintaining a sharp focus on service-delivery.”

A2B-online has already extended its reach into Europe in 2025 with two new sustainable onward carriage options; a new barge service between Moerdijk and Duisburg, and the launch of A2B-online Express, an intermodal rail service between Moerdijk and Melzo in Italy.
