3p Logistics arrange delivery of heavy equipment to Rotterdam

The project team of 3p Logistics in Denmark recently arranged the delivery of a heavy unit for the offshore industry.

The cargo involved equipment for the offshore construction vessel 'Bokalift 2'. It was received in Denmark and transported to the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The dimensions of the cargo measured 6.60 (L) 4.50 (W) 3.50 (H) meters and weighed 85 tons.

3p Logistics covered a scope of work for this project, including:

  • Loading on truck in Northern Denmark
  • Transloading to a Mafi Trailer in the Port of Esbjerg
  • Loading and final shipping aboard RORO vessel
  • Arrival/discharging
  • Barging
