ZIM’s new ZMI service is extended to serve the East Mediterranean – North Europe trade

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services announced today that ZIM’s recently introduced ZMI service, currently connecting the Indian sub-continent and the East Mediterranean, is extended to serve the East Mediterranean – North Europe trade, starting March 2022.

The new structure will offer fast, reliable, and direct service connecting the Indian sub-continent, Israel, Turkey and North Europe.

The enhanced ZMI service will include:
Rani Ben Yehuda, ZIM EVP Cross Suez Trade, stated: “The expanded service, operated independently by ZIM, will offer considerable advantages to customers. We are enhancing our ability to handle project and special cargo, and as always provide top-level personal service along with advanced digital tools.” 

  • 3 Direct calls in ISC ports; Mundra, Nhava Sheva & Colombo
  • Full Coverage of ports and inland container depots in India
  • Direct call to Mersin with connection to Black Sea ports
  • Outstanding connection to inland destinations through ZIM’s intramodal services
