YMX Logistics named finalist in Top Company for Women to Work award

YMX Logistics, a national leader in integrated yard logistics, including gate management, spotting and shuttling services, trailer rentals, and yard management technology solutions, announces the company has been named a Finalist in the Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation recognition by the Women in Trucking Association (WIT).

Every year, the Women in Trucking Association highlights the top companies that are exceptional workplaces for women in all transportation industry roles. These companies support gender diversity, accommodate family and life balance, offer competitive compensation, benefits, continued training, and more.

The next phase of the voting is open to industry members between now and June 27, 2025.

“At YMX, we emphasize a people-first approach, fostering an environment where all employees feel valued and empowered," says Erin Mitchell, COO of YMX Logistics. "We understand the unique challenges women in the transportation industry face, and promote professional growth through mentorship programs. In the last year alone, over half of the leadership roles the company has filled have been women, including several high-impact positions across operations.”

YMX is committed to driving change. COO Erin Mitchell, recognized as a 2025 Top Woman to Watch in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association, exemplifies this by fostering diverse, high-performing teams and championing women's advancement in logistics. Under her guidance, YMX promotes mentorship, operational excellence, and sustainability, creating an environment where women thrive and lead.
