WorldACD: Trends for the past 5 weeks (week 14)

In week 14 (April 4-10), worldwide chargeable weight decreased by -6% compared with the week before, and the average worldwide rate decreased to US$ 4.11.

The last two weeks showed a decrease in capacity of -1% compared with the preceding two weeks. For worldwide chargeable weight the 2Wo2W change was -6% and rates increased with +1%.

Especially rates from Europe to Asia Pacific and from Asia Pacific to North America have gone up in the last two weeks, with resp. +6% and +8%.

Compared with last year, the last two weeks showed a worldwide weight decline of -5% and a rate increase of +25%.
