Woolpert contracted by Terre Haute Regional Airport for on-call aviation consulting services

Terre Haute Regional Airport has selected Woolpert to provide on-call consulting services under a five-year contract. Under the contract, Woolpert will provide architecture, engineering, and construction services. This also will include airport capital improvement plan development, project planning, and environmental services.

The third busiest airport in Indiana and home to the Air National Guard 181st Intelligence Wing, Terre Haute Regional Airport supports general aviation, commercial aviation, military operations with uncrewed systems, and a top-flight university program from Indiana State.

Woolpert Vice President and Aviation Program Director Chris Snyder said that the contract will support Terre Haute Regional Airport's commitment to upgrading key infrastructure and amenities, as well as training future pilots and maintenance technicians, in preparation for future airside and landside growth.

Under this contract, anticipated airport improvements include hangar development, pavement rehabilitation and expansion, airfield lighting, safety and sustainability, FAA air traffic control tower improvement, and advanced air mobility integration projects.
