The United States banned imports from more companies over China's alleged forced labor involving the Uyghurs, according to a government notice posted online on Friday.
The new additions, published in the Federal Register, are part of the federal government's effort to eliminate forced labor practices in the U.S. supply chain.
Selected projects will strengthen domestic rare earth supply chains, reduce reliance on foreign sources, and improve U.S. energy security.
