Uggla company sells container ship

Navigare Capital Partners, which has Maersk chairman Robert Maersk Uggla among its founders, has sold its newest container ship, the Navigare Collector from 2018, to the German D Oltmann Reederei, writes Splash.

The container ship, which has a capacity of 10,100 teu, is estimated by VesselsValue to have a value of DKK 72.5 million. dollars. The sale price has not been published.

According to Splash, the ship has been chartered out to Japanese Ocean Network Express and will be the youngest and largest in D Oltmann Reederei's fleet.

After the sale, Navigare Capital has five container ships at its disposal but has invested in a further six of 2,700 teu each under construction at the Guangzhou shipyard in China.
