Jan 11 - 17 - Truckload rates began to decline last week, with slower demand met with looser capacity. As a result, load-to-truck ratios fell for each trailer type, taking pressure off of what had previously been record high rates at the turn of the calendar year.

Broker-posted dry van spot rates rose to an all-time high during the week, topping the prior record at the end of 2021 by slightly more than a penny per mile.
