Transport Capacity Services Appoints New Leadership

Former Uber Freight and Transplace Executives to Lead Cross-Border and U.S. Logistics Company

August 19, 2025 (Chicago, IL) – Transport Capacity Services (TCS), a multi-modal transportation and cross-border solutions provider, today announced the expansion of its leadership team – marking the company’s official launch following a year of development and steady customer growth.

TCS streamlines freight movement between the U.S. and Mexico, offering reliable, efficient and technology-driven solutions in a complex and often fragmented logistics landscape. With deep expertise, industry-leading technology and an extensive network of trusted carriers, including CTPAT-certified partners, TCS is uniquely equipped to deliver seamless transportation across the U.S. and Mexico.

Founded in 2024, the company has achieved rapid growth and now enters its next phase with the appointment of Ben Enriquez as CEO. A veteran of Transplace and Uber Freight, Enriquez brings extensive industry leadership to TCS. He joins a seasoned executive team with more than 100 years of combined experience in domestic and cross-border logistics – including Frank McGuigan, former Transplace CEO and President & COO of Uber Freight, who serves as co-founder and executive chairman of TCS.

“Cross-border logistics is full of operational and regulatory complexity that can become a bottleneck for many organizations,” said Enriquez. “We formed TCS to eliminate the challenges and uncertainties often associated with cross-border shipping. Our team's deep expertise and long-standing carrier relationships in both the U.S. and Mexico help keep goods moving smoothly and compliantly.”

A Smarter Way to Move Freight

TCS offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored to meet the evolving needs of cross-border and domestic supply chains:

• Cross-border shipping to and from the U.S. and Mexico

• Domestic transportation in both the U.S. and Mexico—covering standard freight, expedited and intermodal options

• Cross-dock solutions for inventory transfer, consolidation and distribution

• Extensive carrier network, including full truckload (FTL), intermodal, specialized and temperature-controlled capacity

• Mexico and U.S. customs expertise to ensure smooth, compliant shipping

• Technology-driven solutions for automation, compliance and end-to-end visibility

“Today’s supply chains need more than basic transportation services; they need a strategic partner who can navigate the complexities of cross-border logistics,” said McGuigan. “Ben and I have previously led and scaled some of the industry’s most successful businesses by combining trusted relationships with a relentless focus on solving real customer challenges. At TCS, we’re bringing that same proven approach - along with decades of experience and a robust network - to improve compliance, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.”

With offices in Monterrey, NL; Mexico City, Bentonville, AR, and Laredo, TX, TCS is strategically positioned to manage high-volume, high-complexity operations on both sides of the U.S.–Mexico border.
