Trailer Bridge expands reach into Central U.S. with new office in Kansas City

Mar 04, 2022

Trailer Bridge Inc. (TB) today announced the opening of a new logistics branch in Kansas City expanding the logistics provider’s reach into the central parts of the U.S. The new location will offer end-to-end supply chain solutions for shippers throughout the country including intermodal and drayage options.

Located in the Overland Park area, TB’s Kansas location is the company’s ninth logistics office and the first in the state. Trailer Bridge has experienced tremendous growth during the past three years and has opened additional offices across North America to support the growing freight needs of today’s shipper.

The Kansas logistics operation will be led by Branch Manager Kyle Olsen who began his career in transportation at the company’s Jacksonville office. He has experience in carrier sales, account management and logistics sales handling freight movements for a number of Fortune 500 shippers in the food and beverage industry as well as electronics and minerals.

“We believe the growth of our company happens when our employees grow and this new branch is evidence of just that,” said Mitch Luciano, CEO of Trailer Bridge Inc. “Kyle exemplifies the core values we look for in our team members – he leads with heart and is always focused on providing exceptional service to our customers.”

Trailer Bridge’s service offerings include U.S. domestic freight movements; cross-border transportation solutions between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada; a new International division expanding ocean carrier services to global markets; ocean transport services to the Caribbean and a government division handling specialized military freight.

The company is seeking smart, driven people to join its logistics sales and operations team in the Kansas City office. “We are looking for competitive, ambitious, and kind people to help us serve this growing market in the Midwest,” said Eric Masotti, Vice President of Logistics at Trailer Bridge. “Our company has a lot to offer those looking to enter a career in transportation logistics including base salary, sales incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, plus training and development opportunities to thrive in this ever-changing industry.”

Trailer Bridge was named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest growing private businesses in the U.S. as well as its Best Places to Work list for two years in a row.

Interested candidates can visit the Careers page on the newly redesigned TrailerBridge.com for more information on the wide array of benefits offered by TB as well as open positions.
