Total Distribution, Inc. Winston-Salem, NC cold storage warehouse awarded AIB International GMP Certification

The Winston-Salem cold storage warehouse of Total Distribution, Inc. (TDI), a Peoples Services, Inc. company, has been awarded the prestigious AIB International GMP (Good Management Practice for Food Safety) Certification. Earning this certification is the result of a commitment to make this 80,000-square foot facility a model and standard for food grade cold storage. In addition, TDI in Fremont, Ohio also has the AIB International GMP Certification, and TDI’s facilities in Akron, OH and Jacksonville, FL have ASI certificates that strictly follow all high standard food handling and storage guidelines.

The company operates over eight million square feet of public and contract warehouse space specializing in a variety of commodities. Other recent investment includes expanded cooler rooms, a new insulated roof, updated cooling equipment, new racking, concrete dock area, automated freezer doors and seals as well as refurbished offices. Three rooms can expand or contract space as customer need requires. Additionally, the facility has 35,000 square feet of dry space and several acres of property available for future expansion.
