Oct 24, 2024

We are happy to report the release of the IICL-ECS for Refrigerated Containers. The document is now available for download at: https://www.iicl.org/technical...

IICL - ECS Project - The Institute of International Container Lessors Following the release of the ECS for dry van and open top containers, the new release aims to reduce and simplify the number of ISO.CEDEX codes being used in the industry while

providing valuable analytical data for analysis. The IICL-ECS for reefers was developed under the supervision of the Technical Committee led by a workgroup formed by SeaCube, Seaco, Textainer and Triton. The IICL expects that the new document will be updated during the coming months as it is

implemented and used by depots around the world. The IICL welcomes users' input and suggestions to improve the document that addresses codes for the box and the machinery. From approximately 493 thousand possible code combinations the ECS project reduced this number to around 9 thousand recommended codes.
