TCA welcomes Steve Phillips as TCA Profitability Program Facilitator

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), the only trade association whose sole focus is the truckload segment of the motor carrier industry, today announced it has hired Steve Phillips as a Facilitator for the TCA Profitability Program.

As Program Facilitator, Phillips will bolster the Truckload Carriers Association Profitability Program’s efforts to help Best Practice Group participant carriers identify strategies to improve their operations through benchmarking and in-person meetings.

Steve brings over thirty years of experience in transportation management to the program, having served many years in senior leadership roles at Werner Enterprises and as Senior Vice President of OTR Operations at U.S. Xpress, Inc. Throughout his career, Steve has demonstrated an exceptional ability to navigate the challenges and opportunities of transportation management, leading to significant improvements in operational efficiencies and profits.

In addition to his leadership roles within carriers, Steve has also served on numerous boards promoting prosperity in the transportation industry, including the North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) and Trucking Profitability Strategies (TPS).
