TaskRabbit founder and FUEL Capital General partner Solivan to keynote at TIA 2025 Technovations

Aug 06, 2025

The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) is thrilled to announce that Leah Solivan—General Partner at FUEL Capital, Independent Board Director, and Founder and Executive Chairwoman of TaskRabbit—will serve as a keynote speaker at this year’s Technovations, taking place November 5–7 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona.

A trailblazing entrepreneur and investor, Solivan is widely recognized as one of the most influential voices in consumer technology and the future of work. As the founder and longtime CEO of TaskRabbit, she pioneered the on-demand gig economy, scaling the platform into an international brand before its acquisition by IKEA in 2017. Now a General Partner at FUEL Capital, she backs the next generation of visionary startups across tech, retail, marketplaces, and education.

“We are honored to welcome Leah Solivan to Technovations,” said Chris Burroughs, President & CEO of the Transportation Intermediaries Association. “Her impact on the tech world, her deep commitment to inclusive innovation, and her bold approach to leadership make her an ideal voice for this year’s event. Her entrepreneurial journey is one that will resonate with our members as they navigate their own paths through disruption, growth, and change.”

Solivan will speak about her journey from software engineer to Silicon Valley founder and venture capitalist, and offer candid insights on entrepreneurship, investing, scaling with purpose, and how to shape the future of work in a rapidly changing world.
