shiftX GmbH, a coalition of cooperating cargo owners, continues its international growth trajectory. Within just a few weeks, the company has established two new business units – in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong – significantly enhancing the global reach and service capabilities of its network.
The newly founded OriginX, a joint venture between shiftX and Chinese logistics provider Unitrans, marks a strategic milestone in the development of shiftX’s operational structures under a unified brand umbrella. Scheduled to commence operations on 01.10.2025, OriginX will serve as a central hub for coordination, performance management, and strategic oversight of all origin locations across Asia.
“Through this partnership, we strengthen our network in the Asian region, establish shared best practices while preserving local expertise, and initiate the technological transformation toward a more data-driven organization,” said Stephan Schiller, Managing Partner of shiftX. “OriginX will become the unified platform for future growth – not only for our organization but also for each individual member of our alliance.”
The transition processes in Hong Kong and Shanghai are expected to be completed by October and November 2025, respectively. Further details regarding specific functions and leadership roles will be announced in the coming weeks.

Earlier this summer, shiftX entered a partnership with British supply chain consultancy Evolution Supply Chain Ltd., resulting in the formation of shiftX BCO Network Ltd. Headquartered in Manchester and led by Keith Gaskin, the new entity has already commenced operations.
British cargo owners (BCOs) now have the opportunity to join the shiftX network. This expansion not only enhances the competitiveness of the network as a whole but also offers UK-based companies a unique solution – true to the shiftX motto: “Stay unique, stronger together.”
