Rush Truck Leasing named PacLease North American Franchise of the Year

Apr 17, 2026

Rush Truck Leasing has been named PacLease’s 2025 North American Franchise of the Year, recognizing outstanding performance and operational excellence across the PacLease network. Rush Truck Leasing, part of Rush Enterprises, Inc., is headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas. It has 36 PacLease locations in 10 states, making it one of PacLease’s largest franchisees.

According to Ken Roemer, President of PACCAR Leasing, Rush Truck Leasing delivered exceptional results in a challenging leasing environment, outperforming the broader market while continuing to expand its footprint coast-to-coast. The organization increased the number of Peterbilts placed in service by more than 15% year over year while maintaining a modern, reliable fleet. Its disciplined maintenance and operations teams ensured high uptime and superior customer service, helping the company deliver consistent, stable revenue performance.

“Rush Truck Leasing truly distinguished itself this year,” said Roemer. “Despite difficult market conditions, they executed at a high level across every aspect of their business – from fleet growth and maintenance discipline to customer satisfaction. Rush is highly deserving of this year’s award.”

In addition to its North American Franchise of the Year award, PacLease recognized several franchise groups across key categories:

U.S. Franchise of the Year (Two Winners – Peterbilt and Kenworth):

TLG Leasing and Kenworth Sales Company PacLease were both recognized for their strong performance and continued growth.

TLG Leasing, headquartered in Springfield, Missouri, has steadily expanded its fleet and geographic footprint over the past five years, building on a proven track record that includes a North American Franchise of the Year award in 2021. As its dealer network has grown, so too has its PacLease operation, demonstrating sustained momentum and operational strength. TLG Leasing currently operates 15 locations in 8 states.

Kenworth Sales Company PacLease, headquartered in Salt Lake City, once again proved itself as a consistent top performer, earning this recognition for the second year in a row. The franchise maintained a strong market presence and operational discipline, effectively managing its rental fleet while delivering a standout year. The recent opening of a new, state-of-the-art facility in Ashland, Virginia, further underscores its commitment to growth and customer service. Kenworth Sales Company PacLease now operates 19 locations in eight states.

Canadian Franchise of the Year:

Eureka Truck Leasing (Boucherville, Quebec) was recognized for an outstanding year in both sales and operations. The company focuses heavily on vocational equipment, leasing and renting trucks outfitted to handle a variety of applications. According to Roemer, the franchise’s strong sales performance and niche vocational-focused operation are key differentiators, setting this group ahead of its competitors.

Medium Duty Franchise of the Year:

Gabrielli PacLease, of Jamaica, New York, earned top honors for its continued success in placing a significant number of medium-duty Kenworths into service each year. This marks the second time Gabrielli PacLease has received this recognition since the award was introduced in 2023, highlighting its sustained leadership in the medium-duty segment.

New for 2026 – MX Engine Franchise of the Year:

PacLease introduced a new award this year to recognize franchises that demonstrate strong alignment with PACCAR’s long-term powertrain strategy.

The inaugural MX Engine Franchise of the Year award was presented to The Pete Store Truck Leasing. Over the past four years, this group has experienced strong growth and has been a proponent of PACCAR MX engines in its lease and rental fleet.

“We added the MX Engine award to align with our truck divisions and recognize franchise groups that are supporting their customers with the PACCAR engine,” said Roemer. “The Pete Store has embraced that vision and delivered impressive growth while doing so.”

All told, Roemer said he can’t say enough about the strength of this year’s award winners. “Each of these franchises demonstrated resilience, innovation, and a deep commitment to their customers. They represent the very best of the PacLease network.”
