Röhlig USA appoints Forster as Regional COO North America

The US subsidiary of the owner-managed logistics company Röhlig Logistics has appointed Benno Forster as Regional COO North America, effective 15 April 2024. He reports to Rafael Ueltschi, Regional CEO North America at Röhlig USA.

Rafael Ueltschi says: “We are thrilled to welcome Benno Forster to our team. With extensive industry experience, particularly in managing airfreight services and procurement across the Americas, he will be instrumental in enhancing our operational efficiency. As his leadership at major logistics companies has consistently resulted in improved cost management and service delivery, we are confident that Benno Forster’s innovative, strategic approach will significantly benefit our customers and stakeholders.”

Benno Forster

Born and raised in Switzerland, Benno Forster began his career at Swissair. After 25 years and various international assignments in sales, operations, revenue management and training, he moved to the freight forwarding side in 2004. Since then, the airfreight expert has held several senior management positions with some of the biggest freight forwarders. Over the years, he has become a leading voice in the airfreight industry and is a frequent guest speaker and panelist at major industry events such as CNS and other IATA forums.

As the Regional COO for North America, I aim to strengthen our position as a reliable and preferred partner for our customers and the Röhlig network.
