Ritco Logistics strengthens leadership with industry veteran Surya Narayan Singh as VP, focusing on Multimodal

Gurugram-based leading logistics company, Ritco Logistics has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Surya Narayan Singh as the Vice President of its Multimodal division, bringing with him 38 years of extensive industry experience. In this pivotal role, he will spearhead the strategic endeavors within its major practices in Multimodal, with a focus on all the segments being nurtured by Indian Railways Mr. Singh has a very clear point of view that in surface movement, railways appear as a single windows solution provider in all the segments and none of any organization may match its strength.

Mr. Surya Narayan Singh is well-versed in leading diverse logistics operations, particularly in the multimodal sector, having spent 26 years focused on this area. His career began in the soft drink industry at McDowell’s & PepsiCo before transitioning to logistics, where he has excelled in various roles, including his recent experience of heading the Rail Operations division of a logistics firm for seven years.

Fondly known as "Bull" among his peers, Singh has a strong background in Indian railways and containerized movement. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the creation and implementation of the Parcel Special Train under Central Railways in 2000, showcasing his deep expertise in railway freight operations.

He is committed to positioning Ritco as a comprehensive solution provider in both domestic and global logistics. He believes that with proper planning and integration of rail and road logistics, the Indian logistics industry can significantly boost trade and the economy.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the role, Mr. Surya Narayan Singh, Vice President – Multimodal, Ritco Logistics stated, “My appointment at Ritco comes at an opportune time when technology is advancing every segment of the economy. As the VP of the Multimodal division, I will ensure strategic technology implementation to drive growth. I believe, if we connect all the dots of the logistics industry by solving its diverse and complex issues, then it’s going to be a great contributor to the country’s economy. I will take forward this objective of making Ritco contribute to this mission purposefully.”
