Apr 17, 2023

The Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL) is offering a reduced registration fee for the Refrigerated Container Inspector Certification Exam for every person that registers and pays for the exam until the end of May 2023. The discounted rate is $585 USD, which is 10% lower than the regular rate of $650 USD per registration. All candidates who register have the option to select a location and a specific date until 31 December 2023 to take the examination.

IICL goal is to promote and facilitate the certification of individuals interested in achieving a higher level of proficiency.

The IICL Refrigerated Container Inspector Examination is computer-based, offered at over 5,100 testing centers worldwide and consists of 100 multiple choice questions which test takers will have 2 ½ hours to complete. The exam is offered in three languages (English, Spanish and Chinese). The exam tests the knowledge of an individual’s ability to understand and interpret inspection and repair criteria for use in a wide range of practical applications throughout our industry. Candidates who pass the exam with a score of 70% or higher will be awarded a five (5) year certification, granted a 1-Star Bronze status rating and listed in the IICL Certified Inspector Directory for the duration of their certification status.
