Q-Free marks 50-million transponders delivered as it launches next-generation OBU1010

Q-Free, a global leader in tolling and intelligent transportation systems, today announced a major milestone: the delivery of its 50 millionth transponder unit. Reaching this milestone in April 2026, Q-Free continues to build on more than four decades of pioneering work in tolling technology. Since its founding in 1984, the company has consistently led the industry forward, including the delivery of the world’s first free-flow tolling station in 1990.
