PS Logistics completes WilMar Trucking acquisition

PS Holdco, LLC (“PS Logistics”) announced that one of its subsidiaries, DMT Trucking, LLC, completed the acquisition of substantially all the assets of WilMar Trucking, LLC and WilMar Logistics, LLC (collectively, “WilMar Trucking” or the “Company”) on December 31, 2020. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

WilMar Trucking, located in Camden, AL, has approximately 30 drivers and an experienced management team leading the Company. The Company is committed to providing a loyal team of professional drivers and support staff and works hard to ensure that customer shipments are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.

The transaction will further strengthen PS Logistics’ operations in the Southeast and provide it with an additional terminal in Camden, AL. “We are proud to welcome WilMar Trucking to the PS Logistics family” said Houston Vaughn, President of PS Logistics. “We look forward to working with their excellent drivers and experienced operations group to continue their great culture and strong customer service. Please join us in welcoming WilMar Trucking as our newest addition to the PS Logistics family.”

 The WilMar Trucking acquisition continues PS Logistics’ acquisition strategy of partnering with families and owners within the flatbed trucking segment. Since 2007, PS Logistics has successfully acquired 20 trucking and brokerage operations.
