Priority Courier Experts acquires now courier to expand footprint in Indiana Region

Dec 10, 2024

Priority Courier Experts (“PCE”), the leading provider of same-day logistics services in the Midwestern United States, announces its investment in NOW Courier (“NOW”), a leading courier in Indiana for the last 38 years. This strategic acquisition marks another significant milestone for PCE as it continues to expand its expedited freight and transportation services footprint throughout the central United States.

“NOW Courier has a remarkable 38-year history and a dedicated team that has built strong relationships throughout Indiana and in the surrounding markets. Bringing NOW into the PCE family not only enhances our geographic reach and service offerings for existing customers and partners with a more expansive footprint, it also unlocks new growth opportunities that will benefit all local customers, employees, and independent contractors. This acquisition illustrates our vision of creating a robust network of expedited freight partners that deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions,” said Mark Cossack, CEO of PCE.

Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Indianapolis, NOW is a market leader in Indiana, covering the entire state plus adjacent geographies. With its comprehensive distribution, routed, dedicated, on-demand expedited and next day services, NOW provides a wide range of delivery capabilities to a vast customer base across multiple time-sensitive business sectors.

“I am excited for me and my team at NOW Courier to join forces with PCE and help bring new capabilities and solutions to the Indianapolis market. The PCE platform is a great place for us all to grow because we share the same culture of customer service excellence,” said Ryan Schwalbach, NOW Courier President. “The business has been in my family since 1986, so finding the right partner was critical as we look to our next phase of growth.”

Ben Rosenbaum, Vice President at Trident, said, "The acquisition of NOW brings together two outstanding teams and represents a significant milestone in broadening our reach and enhancing value for both customers and stakeholders. We look forward to building on this momentum with growth into other high-potential markets in the future.”

Garrett Anacker, Vice President at Bluejay Capital said, “We are thrilled to execute our organic growth strategy for Priority Courier Experts by expanding into other dynamic markets with strong incumbent partners. In addition to supporting the PCE and NOW teams, we are actively looking towards additional market expansion opportunities in the near future.”
