Peoples Services, Inc. rebrands as Total Distribution Solutions, Inc.

Peoples Services, Inc. (PSI) announced it has rebranded under a new name: Total Distribution Solutions, Inc. (TDS). The new name more clearly represents the company’s full scope of logistics, distribution, and supply chain solutions while unifying its identity across all operating entities.

While the parent company name is changing, the Total Distribution brand, long recognized and trusted by customers and industry partners, remains central to the organization’s identity. The existing logo and visual brand elements will continue to be used.

Under the new structure, Total Distribution, Inc. (TDI), Central Warehouse Operations, Inc. (CWI), and Peoples Cartage, Inc. (PCI) will remain distinct operating entities within the TDS family of companies. All existing customer contracts, partnerships, and service commitments remain unchanged.

For more than a century, PSI served as the parent organization while the Total Distribution name increasingly became the unified identity recognized across markets and service lines. The transition to TDS strengthens brand cohesion and enhances clarity for customers, partners, and employees.

The rebrand follows a period of significant growth and recognition for the organization. Earlier this year, Total Distribution, Inc. (TDI) was honored with a 2025 Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Award, recognizing companies in Northeast Ohio that achieved substantial expansion in sales and employment over a five-year period. TDI’s sales increased by more than 100% (or at least $5 million), and its full-time employee base grew by more than 50% during that timeframe reflecting both the strength of its operations and the vitality of the regional economy.

As Total Distribution Solutions, Inc., the company remains committed to delivering the same high standards of service, operational excellence, and community partnership it has upheld for generations.
